New Nursery The implementation trip of the summer of 2011 will focus on providing irrigation for this nursery so that the orphanage can grow and sell their crops year round.
View from the Upper Tank This was taken during the winter months of early 2011 as the new nursery was being constructed.
This tank stores a lot of the water which will be used for irrigating the new nursery. The pump (pictured below) continually pumps water from a local stream.
The Dam This damn was constructed several years ago by a German NGO and allows water to be continuously pumped to the Upper Tank for irrigation. |
